2019 is almost over, though that doesn’t mean blogging is over. Want some free tools for blogging in 2019? I’ve curated a list of some of the best free blogging tools. It’s almost 2020, though let’s finish 2019 strong with some new blogging tools.

Grammarly is my go-to writing tool to check for grammar errors. My favorite feature is the engagement meter. It grades the writing based on how engaging is to the audience.
Hemingway is another great writing tool. My favorite feature is the readability score. I use this to make sure content’s readability is in check.
Need a design app for your blog post covers and Pinterest pins? Shutterstock Editor is one of the best tools for this. Before, I’ve used Canva though I find this to be a lot nicer and easier to use.

Google Analytics is a traffic analyzing tool for websites. A lot of people recommend this and it’s for a good reason. It’s the industry standard for analyzing traffic.
This is a quick Keyword Research Tool. Type in a keyword and click enter. It shows the search volume, competition (from low to high), and CPC for that keyword.
Need a quick test to see if your website is mobile friendly? Mobile Friendly Test is a nice tool that grades your site to see if it’s mobile-friendly.
PrettyLinks is a WordPress plugin that shortens links and makes it apart of your website. It creates a redirect for it. I sometimes use this for affiliate links on my site.
Google XLM Sitemaps is a WordPress plugin used to create a sitemap. Sitemaps are essential for getting your site indexed by search engines. I use this to generate my sitemap.
Google Search Console is a great tool to improve your performance on Google search. It measures your site traffic, fix issues and improves its performance. I use this to submit my sitemap.
SendPulse is what I use for web push notifications. It’s simple to set up and free to use. This one is easier to set up compared to the other push notification sites.
