Grammarly Review: Should Bloggers Use It?

Not all people use a writing tool when starting a blog though that doesn’t mean it has to be like that.

The question is, should bloggers use Grammarly? Before I answer the question, let’s get an overview of Grammarly and what it has to offer. Aside from blogging, I sometimes use Grammarly while writing an email to make it more engaging.

That leads to a question, for those who don’t know what Grammarly is.

My Experience

I heard about Grammarly a long time ago though never really used it. I thought it was a simple grammar error checker and didn’t bother with it. I’ve been a blogger since 2017 and didn’t using a writing tool. That was a mistake.

It was when I began to hear other bloggers mention Grammarly and thought I’d check it out again. When I tested it out, I realized my engagement score was awful. It said that my text was bland. That caught my attention. I rewrote it until the engagement score said “very engaging.” From that point, I use Grammarly when writing posts and articles. I even use it when designing this website and occasionally when writing an email. At some point, I would like to purchase the Grammarly Premium Annual plan since I love using this writing tool.

For starters, I recommend the free version of Grammarly. Then if you decide to buy the premium version or not, that’s up to you.
